Live - Laugh - Love... Love and LOVE

We Are All the Same........by Rumi

We Are All the Same

Listen to the reeds as they sway apart;
Hear them speak of lost friends.

At birth, you were cut from your bed,
Crying and grasping in separation.

Everyone listens,
knowing your song.

You yearn for others who know your name,
And the words to your lament.

We are all the same, all the same,
ongoing to find our way back;

Back to the one,
back to the only one.

~ Rumi

Follow the path of the radiant life force ..by Radiance Sutras

Follow the path of the radiant life force
as she flashes upward like lightning
through your body.

Attend simultaneously
to the perineum, that bright place between the legs,
to the crown of the skull,
and to that shining star-place above the head.

Notice how this living electricity becomes ever more subtle
as she rises, radiant as the morning sun
until she streams outward from
the top of the head into all-embracing gratitude.

Thus become intimate with the life of all beings.

Or trace the river of life that flows through you,
the luxuriously rising energies,
Gradually kissing each of the centers along the spine,
Savor each particle of color along the way.

Enter each area tenderly, loving as you go
and then finally, gently
dissolving in the crown of the head.

~ Radiance Sutras

Be wildly devoted to someone or something....The Vijnana Bhairava Tantra

Be wildly devoted to someone
or something.
Cherish every perception.

At the same time, forget about control.
Allow the Beloved to be itself
and to change.

Passion and compassion,
holding and letting go,
This ache in your heart is holy.

Accept it as the rise of intimacy
With life’s secret ways.

Devotion is the Divine streaming
through you
From that place in you before time.

Love’s energy flows through your body,
Toward a body, and into eternity again.

Surrender to this current of devotion
And become one with the Body of Love.

~ The Vijnana Bhairava Tantra

The Vijnana Bhairava Tantra is a conversation between Devi, the Goddess Who Is the Creative Power of the Universe, and her lover Shiva, the Consciousness Who Permeates Everywhere. Devi dares Shiva to describe the practices for becoming at one with the sacred Reality. In reply, Shiva enumerates a hundred and twelve yogas. In Sutra 98 he gives a bhakti practice.

When you show your face ...by Rumi

When you show your face
even the stones begin to dance with joy.

When you lift your veil
the wise ones lose themselves in awe.

The reflection of your face turns the water
into a golden shimmer
and softens even the fire into a tender glow.

When I see your face,
the Moon and the few floating stars around it
lose their glory.

The Moon is far too old and dim
to be compared with a mirror.

Your breath touched my soul and
I saw beyond all limits.

In your presence Mars,
the god of war sits peacefully
by the side of Venus.

Without You...by Rumi

Without you....

I planted roses,
but without you
they were thorns.

I hatched peacock eggs.
Snakes were inside.

Played the harp,
sour music.

I went to the eighth heaven.
It was the lowest hell.

~ Rumi
